Attractive garden plus a working garden mainly dedicated to exhibition chrysanthemum growing. Raffle. Sale of plants (bedding perennials)

2. 25 Sherrington Road

Saturday 26th May 10.30 a.m. – 1.00 p.m. Sunday 3rd June 2.00 – 4.30 p.m.

Light refreshments available

Our garden is constantly evolving. It has character, encourages wildlife, provides us with some fruit and has items of special interest. It is on four levels and will be great when it is finished!!!!

3. 11 Holtview Road

Saturday 26th May 10.30 a.m. – 4.30 p.m.

Light refreshments available

A warm welcome awaits you at this normal family garden. There will be a sales table and cakes for sale

 4. 36 Warren Avenue (hidden away up a long drive or can be reached on foot via the ‘back track’)

A much loved garden which is well used by chickens, dogs, a cat and a resident squirrel, therefore without much horticultural work! However, we have stunning views across the Downs to Ditchling Beacon, somewhere to sit and a very warm welcome awaits you. There will be things to buy, games to play and some crafty activities for the ‘young’ of any age.

5. 86 The Brow

Saturday 26th May Sunday 27th May Sunday 3rd June all days 2.00 – 4.30 p.m.

Our garden is an informal family friendly space, there are gentle steps at the front and at the back there are flat areas and grassy slopes beyond.

We invite you to come and find George the magical Dragon and some other interesting characters hiding among the plants. Explore our secret path and find our micro village, then relax with a cuppa and a cake (some gluten free cakes available)

6. 1 Merston Close

Sunday 27th May 2.00 – 4.30 p.m. Saturday 2nd June 10.30 – 1.00 p.m.

Light refreshments available

A warm welcome awaits you in this very ordinary family garden. Parking can be tight in the Close but you can use our drive if there is room. There is a novelty tea pot collection for you to look at if you are interested (so you can still come even if it is raining!). There will be a sale of scones, sponges, lemon drizzle and Dundee cakes (if we run out orders can be taken!)

7. Church of the Holy Cross, Downsway

Saturday 2nd June 10.30 a.m. – 4.30 p.m.

A welcoming garden serving our Woodingdean Community

  • Enter the flower pot competition and contribute to the judging (details separately)
  • Play Bingo, Boules and other games
  • Enjoy delicious refreshments
  • Crafts for the children

Inside the Church:

  • Sit quietly in the peace
  • Light a candle for a loved one
  • Browse through the jubilee memorabilia exhibition
  • Choose a hymn from our hymn book, part or all of which will be sung at the sponsored hymn singing on Sunday

Sunday 3rd June 2.00 – 4.30 p.m .

  • Delicious cream teas available
  • Jubilee memorabilia exhibition

3.00 – 4.00 p.m. sponsored hymn singing in aid of the Anthony Nolan Trust
